  1. GEM v2.2 Driver Installation Instructions
  2. See the SpeedSTAR-24 Manual for detailed installation information.

  5. [1] ... Make a diskcopy of GEM Device Driver Disk #1. This copy will be 
  6.     used in place of the original during installation.
  7.  
  8. [2] ... Delete unnecessary screen drivers from the copy of the Disk #1.
  9.     (ie. DEL B: SD*.*)
  10.  
  11. [3] ... Copy the file GEMSETUP.V22 to the new disk.
  12.     (ie. COPY C:\SS24\GEM\GEMSETUP.V22 B:GEMSETUP.TXT)
  13.  
  14. [4] ... Copy the new screen drivers to the new disk.
  15.     (ie. COPY C:\SS24\GEM\SD*.SYS B:)
  16.  
  17. [5] ... Proceed with the normal GEM installation process using the new
  18.     disk when prompted for Driver Disk #1.
  19.  
  20. [6] ... Two new options (K and L) provide SpeedSTAR driver support.
